At Cardboard Boxes NI, we are renewing our commitment to protecting the environment by placing sustainability at the heart of everything we do. From sourcing recycled materials to striving for 100% recyclable, compostable and biodegradable packaging, we’re working to reduce our environmental footprint while helping our customers do the same. As part of our ongoing efforts, we’re also investing in greener production methods and supporting local recycling initiatives – because we believe great packaging shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense.
- Our Cardboard content is now between 30% and 70% recycled
- All cardboard are 100% recyclable and has FSC certification, where the forests are managed responsibly and that products come from well-managed sources.
- We are constantly sourcing new products that are better for the environment – compostable packaging
- Solar Panels are now in place to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and help with energy costs
- We have 2 electric forklifts in use across the premises
- There is no waste at Cardboard Boxes NI, cardboard cut offs are shredded for Void Fill
- Full range of eco-friendly packaging in stock, we are always trying to reach 100% eco-friendly packaging
- 100% Biodegradable & 100% Recyclable for Biodegradable wrap
- All our orders are wrapped using Black Pallet Wrap, which has 30% recycled content and is 100% recyclable
